Jump Cloud: Manunally uninstall client

Once done, reboot the device and try to reinstall again. **Note: We strongly recommend to have access to another admin local account just in case***


A) Navigate to :

1- Control Panel >Programs >Unistall Jumpcloud agent and JumpCloud app


2- Check if the following folders and files are still there, if that is the case, please delete them: 

C:\Windows\Temp\jcagent-msi-signed.msi 

C:\Program Files\JumpCloud

C:\Program Files\JumpCloud

C:\Program Files (x86)\JumpCloud-agent-app


B) Check the following folders in the registry editor:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JumpCloud (if it's still there delete the folder)


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Uninstall\{96542816-DAD1-4D02-8363-CA4121E5CAE7}_is1  **The folder name may change, please confirm that the display name says JUMPCLOUD and delete it if it is still there


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\


Search for jumpcloud-user-agent on the right panel and if it's still there, delete it


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\ 

Look for the Jumpcloud folder, the name is similar to  A8887EBF76EE21745B3CD6B1514AD519


**Note*** Folder name may vary so on the right side please confirm that under Product name we have JumpCloud, if it's still there, please remove it



C) Check if JumpCloud service is there under Services console,


if it is still there run in CMD


SC DELETE jumpcloud-agent


D) Finally reboot device and try to install the agent again


If this doesn't work, please help me make sure that windows defender is off and you can try pausing firewall.
