  1. Close FactSet, Office
  2. Run Troubleshooter w/ following options:

Excel Addin Crashing

Check for duplicate key in registry:

1. Click the  Windows Start button > Run
2. Type in  REGEDIT and click OK

3. Navigate to  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins

4. Look for the key  'FactSet.OfficeAddin.1'. Delete the key. Note: Please back-up this key before deleting.

5. Close the Registry Editor.
