Steps:

1. Open Local Group Policy Editor
2. Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Session Time Limits
3. 'Set time limit for disconnected sessions' - Enable and configure
4. 'Set time limit for active but idle Remote Desktop Services session' - Enable and configure
5. Reboot
