MOCA to Ethernet Setup
MOCA
ONT box from Verizon has 1 coaxial output and 1 Ethernet Output
The Ethernet (Data Port) is off by default
The Coax port is used for the Set Top Boxes.
The Coax port does support MOCCA but the MOCCA feature is off by default.
To replace the Verizon Modem you will need to:
- Purchase a MOCCA Adaptor
- Call Verizon and have them turn on the data port
- You will replace the Verizon modem with the MOCCA adaptor
- You made need to have Verizon flush the DHCP to allow the MOCCA adaptor to gain access to the Verizon network.
- The data network will back fed via the MOCCA adaptor to provide all Internet services to the set top Boxes
